A creative spirit who lives for social interaction and networking, Hailey Eisen is a freelance writer and editor based in Toronto, Canada. Having moved to this city four years ago, Hailey took it upon herself to learn Toronto inside-and-out. Whether she was exploring the GTA’s hippest and quaintest neighbourhoods through her monthly Daytripper column for Post City Magazines, or coordinating regular food-tasting events with the city’s hottest celebrity chefs through her News You Can Use column, Hailey spent her first two years in T.O. meeting amazing people and telling inspiring and important stories.

Now as a creative entrepreneur, Hailey runs her own highly successful freelance business. She writes for a number of trade and consumer magazines covering topics from the latest “green” technology, to alternative wellness practices, to celebrity buzz, education trends, home renovations and décor, travel, volunteerism and more. Variety is the spice of Hailey’s life. She lives for adventure and when she’s not developing her social networking presence online, she’s out in her community connecting with other like-minded professionals, writers, and entrepreneurs. As a creative consultant Hailey has helped to promote a number of books and small-businesses both online and through live events.

A born leader, Hailey is always the one to bring friends and strangers together.  She loves meeting new people, is always expanding her social circle and growing her networks, online and off. She believes in the power of Web 2.0 and its ability to revolutionize the way we do business. A Senior Writer with Backbone Magazine (www.backbonemag.com), Hailey finds technology to be exciting and inspiring.

Hailey is full of energy and passion and, she puts that energy into every job, task and project she takes on. She is motivated and organized when working independently from her vibrant home office and equally comfortable working in a team setting, sharing  motivation and inspiration with others.

She has been passionate about journalism for decades and believes in the power of the written word to successfully inspire change.
