For more than a decade, Hailey has been working as a journalist and freelance writer, penning feature stories, profiles, how-to pieces, interviews, press releases, marketing copy, and more. Hailey got her start as Associate Editor at Post City Magazines where she wrote fashion and food articles, explored Toronto’s diverse neighbourhoods with local celebrities, and edited and compiled the Kids Post section of the magazine.
Following her passion for adventure and change, Hailey set out to start her own business, now Pink Pen Communications, in 2007.
Hailey writes for trade and consumer magazines, websites, and blogs covering topics from clean-tech and ICTs, to health and wellness, to celebrity buzz, education trends, home renovation and décor, travel, parenting, and more. Hailey is a skilled and creative writer with a polished voice. She brings her editor’s eye to every piece she writes, ensuring clean, easy-to-read copy.
Hailey has worked as Editor of the Toronto International Film Festival’s (TIFF) Festival Daily newspaper, Senior Writer for Backbone Magazine, and Copywriter and blogger for Erica Ehm’s Yummy Mummy Club, among other things.
